We are the Knights Lacrosse Booster Club which is the organization that supports the Girls and Boys High School Lacrosse Program and we need your help.
Lacrosse is the fastest-growing collegiate sport in the United States according to the NCAA. Despite this fact and unlike football, cheer, cross country, track and field, field hockey, volleyball, golf, basketball, gymnastics, swimming, diving, wrestling, soccer, baseball, softball, and tennis, lacrosse is not a school sport but rather a school club.
What does this mean?
In simplest terms, it means that the Knights Lacrosse students that choose to play lacrosse receive no school-provided funding for their athletic endeavors. The 100 student-athletes who play lacrosse and their families are responsible to raise their own funds for practice field rentals (due to the COVID restrictions), purchasing equipment, uniforms, transportation, officials, and insurance. Despite our efforts to raise money to cover these costs, such as our spring mulch delivery and installation program, these expenses total several hundred dollars per family.
Your sponsorship could help defray these costs and generate substantial goodwill among the 100 community families who are affiliated with the program and their friends and acquaintances.
