Knights Gather To Prep For 2022 Mulch Fundraiser
On Thursday evening, our Knights came out to Pungo Pizza & Ice Cream to support preparations for the upcoming annual Mulch fundraiser. Organized by fundraiser lead Jamie Kuebler, the mulch fundraiser is the club’s biggest fundraising effort of the year. Players were treated to pizza and drinks while they helped roll upwards of 1,600 flyers, which will be distributed this Saturday, March 5th. Approximately 26 Knights were in attendance.
Jamie shared her thoughts on the night, the team, and the players:
“I am so proud of this club! Boys and girls team came together and knocked out the rolling of flyers in record time. The turnout tonight was beyond my expectations. They were all very polite and productive. Being around these kids just made me want to step up more as a volunteer and get to know these awesome kids. We are truly blessed to have such a great lacrosse club with boys and girls working side-by-side. My daughter walked away tonight saying she’s going to make it to the boys games if she’s not playing! I love hearing how they want to support each other. Parents, you did good!!! Coaches, thank you for your leadership! This season is going to be very rewarding and I’m very proud to be part of it!!! Thank you to all the parents helping out, it makes a difference.”
